Obstetrics department provides for regular antenatal check-ups throughout pregnancy and early diagnosis and treatment of common obstetric complications. Well equipped labour theatres with CTG monitors and Doppler helps to diagnose complications early during labour. Facilities for normal delivery, or assisted with forceps or vacuum and caesarian section are available. This department also deals with various gynaecological disorders like vaginal discharge, pelvic inflammatory disease, menstrual disorders, uterine fibroids and ovarian diseases.
